THEORY
Theory: the ideas or principles on which a subject or activity is based.
Significant: large enough in degree to be important or noticeable.
Significant: involved in the theory or meaning of something.
Significance: the importance or meaning of something.
Significance: the idea, theory or meaning of something, rather than its actual existence or application.
PRACTICAL: The part of a course or study that involves drills which permit the student to associate and coordinate theory/significance with the actual items and objects to which the theory applies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
POSTURE: primarily for wrestling ones mental or spiritual attitude, also the common usage the position of the limbs or the carriage of the body as a whole. Ones posture increases in relation to what one knows. If one knows he is in better condition has better technique than his opponent his posture shines onto his opponent.. Not cause he wants it to it just does. Not to say one shouldn't posture but it is a hell of a lot easier when you know you are better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
POSITIONING: Is the state of the body in reference to an orientation point ( the boundary & guidelines on the mat)and its balance at a given point in time.
In position: Is the state of the body when it is in the most optimal balanced position at a given point in time as well as oriented.
Out of position: Is the state of the body when it is out of balance at a given point in time and or orientation.
TECHNIQUE: a way of carrying out a particular task, especially the execution or performance of an artistic work or a scientific procedure. skill or ability in a particular field. a skillful or efficient way of doing or achieving something.
AS IN WRESTLING.
CONDITIONING: the process of training to become physically fit by a regimen of exercise, diet, and rest; also : the resulting state of physical fitness getting the body into an optimal state of functioning. This includes for the sport of wrestling Conditioning the body to not quit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also the repeated repetition with the attention and intention of a particular technique in efforts to master and become powerful at that move. For example drilling a double leg take down would be a form of conditioning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
