RISING ABOVE THE REST

The body
The body is a weak frail organism that can only survive in a certain temperature, that can only get hit so hard, that can only move so fast, that is highly susceptible to viruses and bacteria, that takes a certain amount of oxygen proteins enzymes and carbohydrates to keep it alive. If it were not for the fragile ecosystem of this planet we would probably be just a bunch of spirits floating around!!:-) But we have this body so in order to get something accomplished with it in the sport of wrestling we must first learn how to control this body. Control being the starting changing and stopping of it. For example one needs to get to class, so one starts his body walking to class as one moves the body it is changing and as one stops the body when it gets to class. That is your basic control formula on the body. start, change, stop. Now in wrestling one needs to learn to control ones body before he attempts to control another beings body. So how long did it take you to learn to walk when you were a we lad with a full diaper???? It probably took you some time. Well you have taught the body all the basic functioning and communication so we can take a little bit of time out of the assimilation of wrestling. But it will take the observation and attention of you not the body. The body is what you are going to teach and control (your body). With this in mind it will help you learn and assimilate quicker. Knowing your Nomenclature of wrestling is the best place to start in learning to control the body in the sport of wrestling. If one does not know the name of what one is teaching one’s body how to do, how is one suppose to reference what one would like the body to do if one has not named or knows it. Plus it makes it much easier for student and coach to communicate with one another to help you improve one’s control of over one’s body. One is capable of making ones body faster, stronger, immune, with a high tolerance band, but one must learn how to before one does so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Assimilate:
take new information into one’s mind, thoroughly understand it and be able to use it effectively.
